The aim of the work was to study the possibility of reducing the frequence as well as numbers and volume of spontaneous hepatocarcinomas in CBA male-mice using phytoadaptogen complex dry extract preventive administration. The control animals received water throughout the trial. The experimental mice received 0,3% phytoadaptogene complex dry extract water-solution during the first month of postnatal ontogenesis including the period (5–15 days of life) corresponding to the termination of liver tissue differentiation. Phytoadaptogen complex – a pharmaceutical composition with biologically active components of extracts of forty plants, including adaptogens Panax ginseng, Eleutherococcus senticosus, Rhodiola rosea, Aralia elata, Schisandra chinensis, Oplopanax elatus as well as triterpene saponins, polyphenols, essential oils. At the age of 8 and 22 months, the frequence as well as the tumours number per animal, the tumour volume and the total volume of tumours per animal were determined. Statistical analysis was performed with the program Statistica 10.0. It was shown that tumours frequence of control mice at the age of 8 months was 10%. Phytoadaptogene complex exposure mice had no tumors during this age period. At the same time the preventive application of phytoadaptogene complex decreased the tumours frequence by 33% at the age of 22 months. Simultaneously a decrease in both the number of tumours and the total volume of tumours per animal was noted.
