Rabbits are recognized as classic laboratory animals and are widely used in many different researches. Laboratory rabbits are used both as independent test systems and as additional (duplicate) test systems with other small rodents.

Summary. Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) is one of the most frequently diagnosed chronic liver diseases, in the etiology of which a special role is played by increasing the proportion of sucrose, fructose and fat in the structure of the diet of the population.

Passive immunization, proposed by E. Behring, is still a sought-after treatment option using mammalian antibodies. This principle was developed by F. Klemperer in 1893, showing that antibodies that could inactivate the pathogen appeared in the egg yolks of chickens immunized with tetanus toxin.

Laboratory rodent nurseries have a sufficient assortment of rodents, but when non-rodents are required, the choice is quite limited. The purpose of our research was to create methodological recommendations for conducting entrance control.
